Creating Innovative Product Showcases with Unique Ideas and Design
Since completing a Bachelor’s in merchandising in 2016, Natalie Petti went on to pursue a career in creating unique product showcases for Pottery Barn Corporate in San Francisco. Producing innovative designs using tools, like Adobe, CAD, and other 3-D rendering programs, Natalie created inspiring spaces for new retail products and spaces. POTTERY BARN KIDS // PBTEEN CORPORATE: VISUAL MANAGER

Oversee the creative execution of all Concept and Retail Floorsets. Work alongside the Visual Director, to manage teams of Contractors, Regional, District, and Store Visual Managers for over 150 retail stores across the United States. Responsible for all conception, design, and execution of visual product displays, seasonal visual books and store visual standards.
Detailed Tasks Include:
• Construct and Design Concept rooms using inspirational products to present Product Development’s and Merchants/Buyers main ideas and products for the season; this showcase also provides interior design inspiration for the catalog and e-commerce site.
• Sketch floorplans and draw them using Adobe Illustrator, tailoring to each individual stores layout.
• Oversee the retail floorset showcasing the merchandising of each feature and product.
• Publish a Visual Book with detailed sections including, a visual training guide and store standards, big ideas for the season with set merchandising direction for each feature, and directions for creative display.
• Review daily and weekly reports on individual store performance and product category earnings to ensure the visual practices being used display products effectively and promote sales.
• Management and Communication of Visual direction of Store Leaders, Regional/District Visual Managers.

ZARA KIDS & BABY: VISUAL MERCHANDISING MANAGER
Worked independently to plan and create a merchandising layout for twice weekly product placement for the Kids and Baby department. Read store reports to analyze sales and monitor individual product activity to best layout my department for a positive customer experience and inventory sell-through.

ANTHROPOLOGIE: SERVICE AND SELLING MANAGER
Elevated leader in charge of creating an engaging and inspiring experience for the customer. Utilizes company tools to create a collaborative selling culture through goal setting, staff development, and team service initiatives. Oversee the stylist role to cultivate relationships and generate new business. Additionally, assist the visual merchandising manager in home to create spaces that inspire the customer, oversee the home business objectives to maintain strong sales, and lead the team in updates and training in new home initiatives.
FREE PEOPLE: VISUAL MANAGER IN TRAINING
Responsible for planning and executing new merchandising strategies and layouts, creating captivating window and in-store displays showcasing the newest collections and style assortments, and performing daily operational tasks involved with running a business: completed sales ledgers, emailed daily updates to corporate, and monitored store performance.
ANTHROPOLOGIE: VISUAL INTERNSHIP
Shadowed under the Visual Merchandising Manager to oversee the execution of all merchandising, floor planning, display, and outfitting, ensuring merchandise is displayed neatly, beautifully, and reinforces the brands image and message for the season. Worked alongside the Display Coordinator to create unique and visually appealing displays, and design and install large scale window and in-store art presentations.
